The Last Farm Bag

It’s a good day, and a sad day, because today is the last of our farm bag deliveries for a while. The next few months are going to be extremely busy, and we’ll be in Europe for most of September, so I suspended our deliveries until we get back. If we need veggies, we’ll just have to go to the grocery store like normal people. WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF?

Ahem. Here’s what came in today’s farm bag…

  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Zucchini
  • Vidalia Onion
  • Green Cabbage
  • SC Peaches
  • Sweet Corn on the Cob
  • The French Pantry’s Honey Wheat

The dogs did not eat the bread this time, so I’ve enjoyed a few slices already. I plan on making some cabbage soup on Sunday, but otherwise, not really sure what is going to come of the rest of these. I imagine nothing too complicated (just sautéing, steaming, or grilling), but if we decide to get creative, I’ll certainly share!
